Carol Snyder, COA

Laser Vision Correction Coordinator (All Clinics)

Carol is the Laser Vision Correction Coordinator for all the clinics. She oversees the overall performance in patient's education consultations, special testing, and preoperative/postoperative care. As a Certified Excimer Technician, her duties include laser maintenance, temperature and humidity control as well as, testing the laser within parameter between patients. She assists in all Laser surgery procedures. She had refractive surgery by Dr. Lockhart in September 1994. Carol presents eye health information at health fairs, seminars and community events. Carol enjoys spending time with her four wonderful children. She enjoys working out, running, water skiing and learning the newest information available in the field of Laser Vision Correction.

Pam Cottingham, OA

Assistant to Dr. Lockhart, Laser Vision Correction Technician

Pam joined Gailey Eye Clinic in 1990. She has been in several areas in the field of ophthalmology. She has been an ophthalmic assistant, certified contact lens technician and now a Laser Vision Correction Technician. She brings valuable experience to the LVC team. She provides Laser Vision Correction consultations as well as pre and postoperative care. She also assists Dr. Lockhart in laser vision correction surgery. Pam had LASIK performed by Dr. Lockhart in May 2000. Pam is married, has two daughters, and enjoys spending time with them.

Donna Diehl, LPN, COA

Donna has been with Gailey Eye Clinic since 1982. Donna is also a Certified Excimer Laser Technician. Her responsibilities include assisting Dr. Lockhart with laser vision correction surgery, preoperative and postoperative testing and patient education in laser vision correction and coordinating surgical services for the doctors at all satellite locations. Donna is not a laser vision correction candidate. Donna is married and has two children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, canoeing, hiking, camping, fishing, gardening and reading.

Leanne Gollnitz, RN

Leanne is the Laser Vision Correction Coordinator for the Peoria office and Community Outreach Coordinator for all the Gailey Eye Clinics. She has been with Gailey since 1990. Her responsibilities include patient education for laser vision correction. Leanne provides preoperative teaching and special testing on LVC surgical patients. She provides services out in the community by providing eye health information to area businesses and at community events. Leanne had PARK in April 1996 by Dr. Lockhart. Leanne is married and has three children. She enjoys reading, baking and family Minnesota vacations.

Beth Peradotti, COA

Beth has been with the Gailey Eye Clinic in the Peru office since 1983. Beth assists all the doctors with all aspects of patient care. She is trained in Fundus Photography, Goldman Perimetry and performs the special testing procedures necessary for cataract and laser vision correction surgery. Beth had laser surgery by Dr. Lockhart in October 2001. Beth enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her husband and two children.

Diana Krzeminski

Diana has been with the Gailey Eye Clinic in the Peru office since 1983. She is the office manager of the Peru clinic. Her responsibilities also include surgical counseling, fitting and dispensing contact lenses, eyeglasses, and well as laser vision correction consultations and scheduling. Diana had refractive surgery by Dr. Lockhart in 2000. She is a member of the Opticians Association of Illinois and is a certified Contact Lens Technician. Diana enjoys reading, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her cats, stepchildren and step-grandchildren.

Dawn Thilmony, COA

Dawn joined the Gailey Eye Clinic in February 1999. Dawn is also a Certified Excimer Laser Technician. She assists in the general work up of patients, preoperative and postoperative eye measurements for all eye surgeries. She assists Dr. Lockhart in laser vision correction surgery by performing pre and post procedure care and teaching as well as assisting in surgery. Dawn, at this time, is not a candidate for laser vision correction. Dawn is married with two wonderful sons. She enjoys activities with her kids, traveling, photography, scrap booking and reading in her limited spare time.

Jenny Mudd, OA

Jenny has been with Gailey Eye Clinic since 1999. Jenny is located at the Decatur/Forsyth clinic. Her duties include history taking and general work up of all patients. She also provides information to patients who have an interest in the field of Laser Vision Correction. Jenny had LASIK surgery by Dr. Lockhart in August 2000. In her spare time she is an aerobic instructor for Mt. Zion Gold's Gym. She enjoys spending time with her husband and little boy.

Sherri Rutledge, OA

Sherri joined the Gailey Eye Clinic in September 1998. She assists in general work up of all patients. She is trained on the Marco 2100 Epic Refractive System and is part of the LVC team. She assists in pre and postoperative care and teaching of the LVC patients. She is fortunate not to need Laser Vision Correction. Sherri has three wonderful children and enjoys crafts, flower gardening and spending time with her family.

Cary Hederick, Special Testing

Cary does special testing for LASIK and cataract patients. These special tests are very instrumental in determining the surgical outcome. Cary has 21 years of experience with GEC. He is married and has two children. He enjoys woodworking, studying civil war history, golf, bowling and pool.

Melinda Egeberg, Special Testing

Melinda does special testing for LASIK and cataract patients. These special tests are very instrumental in determining the surgical outcome. Melinda has 19 years of experience with GEC. She is married and enjoys traveling with her husband. She also enjoys photography and reading.
